Anmol Hajraw, Registered Psychologist
Hi! I'm Anmol.
As someone with South Asian heritage who grew up in Calgary, I understand the unique challenges faced by immigrants and children of immigrants. Many people I’ve worked with have shared that they hesitated to seek counselling because they couldn’t find someone who truly understood their cultural experiences.
My goal? To provide a safe, culturally sensitive space where we honor your background while exploring how it shapes your mental health.
I offer counselling in English and Punjabi.
I also provide Neurodivergent-Affirming Counselling, with a focus on Autism and ADHD.
I work with individuals (ages 15 and older) and couples to tackle concerns like anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, emotional regulation, self-esteem, personal identity, relationships, executive functioning, and more.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and client-centered, blending Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Gottman Method Couples Therapy. Think of it as a customized therapy playlist—minus the ads and generic advice. My goal is to help you navigate life’s ups and downs at your own pace, with support that actually makes sense for you.
When I’m not in therapist mode, you’ll find me traveling across the world, getting lost in a good mystery or crime novel/podcast, listening to Punjabi music on repeat, or hunting for the best new places to eat.
If you’re curious about therapy or wondering if we’d be a good fit, I invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your journey – one meaningful conversation at a time.
